althea (b. 2002, Germany) is an artist and researcher whose work explores the intersection between memory and environment. her practice draws upon autobiography to investigate how digital culture reframes individual/collective identity.

rejecting superficial taxonomies of online culture (i.e. 'aesthetics' and 'cores'), she asserts that subjectivity itself constitutes meaning, which positions selfhood as both the medium and the message.

current projects aim to reimagine the digital landscape as a space of critical reflection rather than passive consumption.

core methodology: visual storytelling
ongoing research: authenticity, online-identity and post-aesthetic discourse
